I've been in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2007 after having spent my life living on the central coast of California in San Luis Obispo.
In April 2010 I moved from Rockridge in North Oakland down to San Jose to take a support position at Cisco Systems. I started working at UC Berkeley in January 2014, and finally moved back up to Oakland in September 2014. As of October 2016 I've now moved down to Menlo Park and will be starting at Google this month.
I'm quite proud of my accomplishments over the last few years:
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (Routing & Switching) - 2009
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (Service Provider) - 2013
- FAA Private Pilot License - Single Engine Land - 2013
- USHPA rated Advanced Paraglider Pilot - 2013
My hobbies and interests shift frequently--I have a tendency to weave in and out of each of them. Besides aviation and technology I enjoy playing Go, taking care of our plants and animals, running, baking, beer, and wine.
